(DES)CAMINHOS EDUCACIONAIS: DA EDUCAÇÃO INDÍGENA COMUNITÁRIA À UNIVERSIDADE

Abstract

The Guaraní are an indigenous crew of people who traditionally are always looking for of a better place to live. In this straight walk, they had to deal with Spanish missionaries, Portuguese and even other indigenous groups. As a consequence, they lost many of their traditional territory, as well as a significant number of deaths. Today, they keep fighting for their rights to get a dignified life, health, teritory and education. In this context, are included the Guarani Ko`? Jú Porã, who are participants in this project, living in a community located in the Indigenous Marrecas (demarcated for Kaingang), in the village of Turvo - PR. This research had as a main goal, to monitor the wrong and rigth educational way of Guarani`s people since the process of Traditional education that they receive in the community, even though the challenges faced to ingress and / or stay in a level college, going thru the process of Primary School learning, whether at indigenous community school, either in non-indigenous school, where follow in order to complete the primary and secondary education, and where they live situations of prejudice and discrimination. This study is an ethnographic character and was written after an intense process of "living-with" in the community.
