Abstract: This dissertation aims to analyze the connections between theory and practice of local history by teachers of the initial years of Elementary School in the municipal network of Irati, thus problematizing the teaching of History at this level of education. To this end, field research was carried out in the municipal schools Antonina Fillus Panka and Olaria Filipak, both located in Irati - PR. The purpose of this field research was to compare the answers present in the questionnaire answered by the teachers with the actual pedagogical practice in the classroom and, thus, record the possible approximations, distances and contradictions existing between these two spheres. The field research, of a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive nature, was supported by bibliography pertinent to the subject and divided into two fronts. First, a questionnaire was applied to the teachers of both schools, in order to elucidate the ideas, perceptions and convictions of the teachers regarding the relationship between the teaching of History and local history, having as a background their pedagogical practices; Next, the observation of these teachers' classes was carried out. Thus, far from intending to propose an eminently bibliographical and theoretical-methodological discussion, this dissertation sought to contribute to the debate regarding the potentialities that exist between the teaching of history and local history, based on a perspective situated in space and time, in order to bring new elements about the theme, especially for educators who work with similar historical realities. With the development of this research, the following result was reached as a response to the problem: In general, the teachers' conceptions regarding local history were reflected in the observed classes. Convergences and divergences were noted between discourse and practice, making evident the teachers' concern with the valorization of local history in the classroom.

Abstract: This thesis aims to understand the stereotypes that Palmital, a small city in the state of Paraná, carries. Known by many people as a town with a brave population, Palmital is portrayed in oral narratives by both its residents and neighboring cities, besides the social medias, as a violent place. The thesis is developed from this perspective, with a time frame from 1960 to 1980, it was executed based on criminal proceedings, aiming to comprehend the occupancy of the space and verify if it was the axis guiding of the violence relations. Besides that, the thesis seeks to understand the town’s resident experiences. The research also shows how social medias represent Palmital, pointing out the current impacts of it. For a better comprehension of the subjects, reasons and places involved in the physical aggressions, that were led to homicides, this research makes a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the criminal proceedings at the judicial district of Palmital.

Abstract: A study about the concept of the past for undergraduates History based on the justification that the past is the object of investigation by the historian and the teaching of history and that a theory of historical learning pass through a definition of the meanings that the past has for the subjects. The concept of past is one of the most important in the construction of the epistemology of historical Science and consequently for history learning. Therefore, it is pertinent to question, what is the meaning of the past in a general perspective also, in a special way, for those who work in the history field The subjects of this investigation were 43 students from the History course at the University Central-West State – UNICENTRO, in the Irati city, Santa Cruz campus and extension Coronel Vivida city. As a methodology, choice to apply a previously structured questionnaire, in addition to bibliographical research. The research construction process begins, seeking to understand the Historical Education research field delve deeper into Rusen's ideas and learn about concepts such as historical consciousness, historical learning, matrix of historical thinking and second-order ideas, both fundamental to the theme. Furthermore, sought theoretical support to think scientifically about the past, complemented with field research. And to conclude, I construct a discriminative perspective of training in history based on a brief history and analysis of curricula and syllabuses of the History course of University Central-West State – UNICENTRO, aiming to think about the support offered to academics to polish important concepts in the initial area formation Presents and discusses a possible categorization of the concept of past based on Oakshott (2013), distinguishing it between practical past and historical past. It has a theoretical basis in authors such as Rüsen (2001, 2010), Germinari (2010, 2011), Isabel Barca (2011), Peter Lee (2008), Zamboni (2005), Schmidt (2025, 2017), among others. In the final considerations, it presents the results of field research and bibliographical research that can contribute to the discussion about how much students of history courses know and dominates Historical Education, in addition to providing elements for a discussion on how the concept of past can interfere with historical teaching and learning. The results obtained showed that Historical Education is a theoretical field that can greatly contribute to the initial training of students in History undergraduate courses, as well as that, based on the curriculum and syllabi analyzed, the disciplines in the field of teaching are fundamental for the deepening of epistemological concepts and teaching work with them. Furthermore, the results showed that despite an academic trajectory with significant progress, academics in History presented, through research, significant divergences in the explanation of the concept of the past, as well as little depth in the explanation of possibilities for didactic work with the past concept.

Abstract: The present study is dedicated to analyze the production of family memory in a family formed by descendants of French immigrants, who settled in the state of Paraná in 1895. Such study will be from the analysis of "Casa da Vó Marica", a space constituted by part of the referred descendants, as "place of memory (s)" and sociabilities. This work has the general objective to analyze the production of family memory in the Cassou Bruel family, through the relations and interactions with the "Casa da Vó Marica". As specific objectives, we list: present the presence of French immigrants and their interaction with the Paraná Railroad, focusing on the stretch Curitiba-Restinga Secca; identify and analyze memories present in the family within the house, the sociabilities lived there and the ancestors; analyze the process of musealization of the residence and its transformation in the "Casa da Vó Marica", present their collection and disposition in the house; investigate the meanings of the event "Chef for a Day", which has been held in the family context in the house. The methodology of oral history was used - interviews with members of the Cassou Bruel family, research in newspapers, analysis of the collection. The documentary research was used to obtain the necessary data and analysis, using as a basis the primary sources present in the original House of the Bruel family. And periodicals of the period available on the Website of the Digital Library of the National Library Foundation. The dissertation is structured in three chapters, addressing the presence of French immigrants on the banks of the Paraná Railroad stations; Casa da Vó Marica: place of sociabilities and comensality; and the final considerations.
