Abstract: The Women writers of the Beat Generation legacy is greatly shaped by including this word in the middle of the subject: “women”. As part of a literary generation known for its use of spontaneous prose, the space for free creation, and a road with an adventure model distinctly
inscribed by male writers, what kind of roads do these women writers travel? Also, considering the Beat Generation's legacy of spiritual search and freedom in literature, how do these women work within these lines, and what models of roads do they trace? This research
seeks to think together about how the idea of freedom is constructed in the text and its presence in the signifier ‘woman’. This signifier is thought of in this dissertation in a dialogue with its perception in the psychoanalysis field, such as Lacan's (2008) views and “The Woman
don’t exist”, and the relationship between the femininity and the “escape” (Lacan, 1999), as well as taking into account Hélène Cixous' (2024) idea of writing as a space of having no home and wandering. If we consider that whenever there is a road, side roads are built from
its existence, what does it mean to “escape” from this line? This research is based on the hypothesis that it is possible to create an extra road, “extra” side roads that are formed in a
desiring model without an end, as always there is an “extra” that can enter this chain. Such organization, characterized by a deviation, highlights the wandering; the impermanency and omissions marks. Considerations that allow us, finally, to think of these writings as operating within a logic of their own: the escape.

Abstract: This research is based on Labovian Sociolinguistics, as well as on studies of Linguistic Beliefs and Attitudes, and aims to analyze the culture and language spoken by Poles, encompassing the entire historical and cultural context of this ethnic group. This work records facts about Polish culture, as well as the language that is still spoken by many descendants. The work is also based on the studies of Ruy Wachowicz (1970) who has a vast trajectory in studies on Polish
immigration, analyzing the path taken by Polish immigrants, the entire history and culture that they brought to Brazil and to the city of Cruz Machado, where this research is based. This research also aims to encompass the issue of religion, a strong influencing factor in Polish language and culture. Based on reports from informants, we seek to understand more about how the influence of Polish immigration is present in the community and in the lives of
descendants, bringing to the work a broad development about the Poles in our region, with linguistic and cultural aspects.

Abstract: This dissertation focuses on the interweavings of O manto da noite (2022) by Carola Saavedra. Based on the hypothesis that reading a contemporary novel requires an approach that acknowledges the fluidity and intertwining of traditional narrative elements—such as
characters, plot, time, and space—and other unconventional elements outside the Western literary tradition. The main objective is to explore the narrative interweavings in O manto da noite. The specific objectives are: (1) to identify the different narrative voices that guide
the construction of the work; (2) to investigate how the Cordillera can be understood as memory and ancestry; and (3) to identify the relationship of the work with other narrative languages. The theoretical framework is grounded in authors such as Sigmund Freud (2022),
for exploring the unconscious; Mikhail Bakhtin (2010), with the concept of polyphony; Ailton Krenak (2019, 2020, 2022), with reflections on ancestry; Karen Gomes Shiratori (2013), with notions of oneiric thinking; Eduardo Viveiros de Castro (2014, 2015), with
ideas on Amerindian perspectivism; Francisco Gazitúa (2019), discussing the significance of the Andean territory; Borges Filho (2008), contributing to the theory of topoanalysis;
Roland Barthes (2003), exploring the concept of "living with"; Silvia Federici (2017) and William Shakespeare (2013), with insights into literary coexistences, such as in "Caliban adrift"; Bill Mollison and David Holmgren (1983), providing the foundation for
permaculture ideas; and Carola Saavedra (2021), who expanded permaculture notions to create the concept of permatext. Among the main results, it is highlighted that O manto da noite opens new possibilities, especially for permatext and, consequently, for the concept of permatextuality. The analysis reveals that the Cordillera, characters, and narrative voices not only coexist but intertwine continuously, resignifying narrative elements and pointing to a
literature that transcends traditional boundaries. In summary, this dissertation reaffirms the hypothesis that contemporary novels demand an approach that recognizes narrative fluidity
while contributing to discussions on literature, ancestry, and narrative innovation. The study emphasizes the significance of O manto da noite as a book that not only reflects but also proposes new paths for contemporary novels.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to reflect how hate speech about teachers and teaching, which has been uttered and disseminated during the pandemic, corroborates the process of disqualifying these professionals undertaken by the Escola Sem Partido (ESP) movement. Likewise, we are interested in thinking about how these discourses end up establishing a post-truth about teaching. To this end, we used 29 statements in comments linked to news
published by the Rede Sul de Notícias portal in Paraná, which refer to teaching during the pandemic period, especially the possibility of a strike in the face of a return to the face to-face classes, although health conditions of the period. We were able to see that the
discourses analyzed present traces of hate speech as they undertake a purge of the other (Thompson, 2011) against the category, disqualifying it and even advocating the use of physical violence. In addition, we can also see that the representation of teachers as a
threat does not occur in isolation: going back to the period of the civil-military dictatorship (1964-1985), we can see that contemporary ESP discourses take up and update meanings that have already been mobilized about teachers. Similarly, this negative
representation is corroborated by the emergence of post-truths about the professional and his work, which erase the conditions of his work to blame him for the problems faced by the education during the Covid-19 pandemic.
