Abstract: This research is linked to the field of Afro-Brazilian beliefs in an attempt to reflect on the
ways in which they are present in the city's history. First, we bring the historical and cultural
trajectory of the municipality of Irati/PR, so that it was possible to understand the space in
which Afro beliefs are inserted. After understanding the spatial context, we sought to
understand how these practices are inserted in the history of Irati. In view of this, we found
the first indications in 1957 in the publications of local periodicals, Correio do Sul newspaper
and Tribuna dos Municípios. After having stereotyped and stigmatizing ideals of such beliefs
in the 1950s in newspaper publications, we seek to show that they resisted such discourses
and are part of the composition of Irati's religious framework, even in 2021. With this, the
purpose of the third chapter consists of in knowing these religions. For this, a form was
created with some questions that contributed to outline the profile of such beliefs, which was
answered by adherents of Afro-Brazilian beliefs. This dissertation seeks to contribute to this
theme, insofar as it was possible to promote a debate around Afro-Brazilian religiosities in
Irati from other perspectives, than that of an official history.

Título: A CONSTRUÇÃO DA CONSCIÊNCIA HISTÓRICA A PARTIR DOS ESPAÇOS PRATICADOS: UMA PERSPECTIVA DO ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA

Abstract: This dissertation deals with the teaching of history from the concept of historical consciousness, focusing on the experience of the students, from the teaching of local and regional history, and from the perspective of the relations and configurations that make the classroom a field of manifestation of a region. The difficulties of teaching history in Brazil are related to the methodologies, the public policies, and the very subjects that make up the classroom universe during the mediative practice between teachers and students. In this context, the formation of historical consciousness has been gaining space in official documents such as the BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular), the Curricular Referential and the CREP (Curriculum of the Paranä State Network). Thus, historical consciousness, which, according to Jörn Rüsen, is the "sum of mental operations with which men interpret their experience of the temporal evolution of their world and of themselves, in such a way that they can intentionally orient their practical life in time" (RÜSEN, 2001, p.57). That is, they are presented as a basis for what should be the focus of history teaching, the formation of an autonomy of the subjects for their own location in time and space in relation to the fields in which they are inserted. Therefore, forming the subject is a broad and adaptive process, in which the history teacher needs to bring together the science of history and the didactics of history, which for a long time were far apart. It can be seen that the educator of this area needs to be apt to the Science of History, even if he/she is not a researcher, for he/she needs to move between both sciences. To achieve such a goal, in the research, which occurred during a pandemic period, in which teaching became distance, and then hybrid until the face-to-face return, it was necessary to adapt the form of work about the observations of the object of research, the practices of History teaching among eighth and ninth grade students of Elementary II of the State Civic-Military School Alcides Munhoz, located in the city of Imbituva, during the years 2019 to 2022. From the proposed activities, it is observed that the difficulties refer to the teaching objectives, practices, and policies, which, in addition to updated speeches, still fall back on traditional practices that distance the subjects' experiences with the leasing of history. In this way, to achieve the desired result, empirical and theoretical research was carried out, in a quantitative way, but with a focus on the qualitative. That is, through the reading of authors such as Jöm Rüsen, Isabel Barca and Maria Auxiliadora Schmidt, the elaboration of online questionnaires applied by the Secretariat of Education of the State of Paranä, as well as some about history teaching prepared for the research, and also through the analysis of the curricula of national and state education and of the educational institution itself. The intention is to establish discussions about the teaching of history, with a view to forming historical awareness, which is in vogue in the official documents themselves; hence it is necessary to understand how it is being dealt with in the methodologies applied by the educators.

Título: REGIME DE CERCAS: TRANSFORMAÇÕES NO FAXINAL DA CACHOEIRINHA - IMBITUVA/PR (1930-1980)

Abstract: This dissertation is concerned with the analysis of transformations that occurred in the practices of the "faxinalenses," developed by the residents of Faxinal da Cachoeirinha, in the municipality of Imbituva, Paraná, Brazil. The analyzed temporal scope consists of the period between the 1930s and 1980s of the 20th century. This period allows for an understanding of how the everyday life of the "faxinalenses" was constituted through traditional practices related to their way of life in the "faxinais" (traditional rural settlements). These practices underwent progressive changes that profoundly altered the existing economic, social, and cultural dynamics of the region. The transformations, mainly starting from the 1970s due to structural issues and internal factors within the "faxinal," led to the disintegration of its traditional elements, putting an end to typical practices and prompting the "faxinalenses" to redefine them over time. We understand that the analyzed traditional practices constitute the everyday life of the "faxinalenses" since they persisted for a long time in the space. We
conceive everyday life as a field of analysis of reality, and thus, our main concern is with the
transformations and continuities in daily life, which are related to agricultural and animal husbandry practices developed by the residents of the "faxinal" as a means of survival and social reproduction. These everyday practices, their changes and continuities, reveal a wide network of representations that enable the perception of various cultural relationships, social conflicts, resistances, and resignifications. The conceptual basis for this study is grounded in academic discussions about "faxinais," traditional communities existing in Paraná, Brazil, which have a unique communal logic and their own culture. In this sense, Faxinal da Cachoeirinha is understood in relation to various processes in which "faxinais" and "faxinalenses" are involved, such as typical economic activities like free-range animal husbandry and subsistence agriculture, as well as identifying the factors that contributed to the disintegration of the "faxinal" system and its characteristics. This research utilizes
oral sources, written documents, and photographs, each with its specific methodology. It is worth noting the use of oral history methodology, which allowed us to approach the representations and individual and collective memory of the subjects through interviews conducted with residents of the "faxinal.

Título: O GURU DO ÓDIO: redes de poder e condução de conduta nos discursos de Olavo de Carvalho na plataforma Facebook (2015-2021)

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the speeches of the brazilian writer Olavo de Carvalho on the
social networking platform Facebook. Through Michel Foucault's theoretical glasses, the work aims to understand some strategies used by Carvalho for the exercise of power and the conduct of his followers' conduct. Considered one of the main digital influencers of the conservative and far-right movements that gained strength in Brazil from 2013 onwards, Carvalho propagates lies, denialist ideas, conspiracy theories, hatred and resentment, supported by the characteristics of content transmission on digital platforms. Starting from the control switches of the speeches, an attempt is made to make a diagnosis of the present to arrive at the characteristics of biopower present in the lines of the Brazilian writer. Biopower, in this research, will be understood as formed by disciplinary, sexuality and security devices, in the terms proposed by Foucault, to better understand the normalization society which Olavo de Carvalho seems to seek. For this, the corpus of the research covers the years 2015 to 2021, a period in which important events for the recent history of Brazil occurred, such as the impeachment of former president Dilma Rousseff, the campaign for the presidency of Jair Bolsonaro, the beginning of the Bolsonaro’s government in the Presidency of the Republic and the Covid-19 pandemic. This period is also understood as the one through which there was a strengthening of conservative and far-right ideas within brazilian society, hence the importance of paying attention to Carvalho’s discourses. In the first chapter, this research is based on concepts of lie and truth in posts made during the pandemic. The period, which runs from the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2021, shows that Carvalho questions knowledge accepted by society, such as science, for example, based on denialist strategies to minimize the effects of the coronavirus and the effectiveness of vaccines. In the second chapter, the normalization society will be brought to the research to identify the notions of normal subject, the one who follows the moral rules of a society, of the abnormal, as the one who is deviant. Finally, in the third chapter, this work seeks to show how Carvalho will produce speeches to disqualify the press and universities to impose a regime of truth based on information and lies.
