Título: ESTRATÉGIAS DE SUSTENTABILIDADE E OS 17 OBJETIVOS DE DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL: ESTUDO DE CASO EM UMA INDÚSTRIA DE FIOS E CABOS

Abstract: Subject: after the creation of Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), by United Nation Organization (UNO) in 2015, the organizations have showed more interesting in being sustainable within what is inserted. To understand the actions of a company operating in the automotive market, this study was carried out, using the theoretical foundation of Strategy as a Social Practice, Sustainability, The 17 SDGs and the Global Compact. Problem/Goals: looking for answering the problem of the searching: which are organization of sustainability strategies that are aligned to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)? The general objective was identified by the sustainability strategies focusing in 17 SDGs in a organization located in the city of Irati, South-Center of the Parana State, and the specific objectives were to identify sustainability actions that are part of the organization's daily life; verify the alignment of organizational practices with the 17 SDGs; and propose actions that can help the organization align with the 17 SDGs. Methodology: to develop the research, a questionnaire was administered to the organization's employees to identify the sustainability actions they witness and interviews were carried out using a semi-structured script with three managers, who are representatives of the departments linked to the pillars of sustainability, economic, environmental and social. The research is considered as a case study, consisting of the questionnaire (applied in April 2023), interviews (carried out in June and August 2023), direct observation, document analysis and field diary. To analyze the interviews, the content analysis technique was used. Result; it was possible to identify, in the perception of the company's employees the actions it adopts and which can be related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as their level of perception. In interviews with managers, it can be seen that the company does not use sustainability and the 17 SDGs hemes in its daily life, however, it was identified that even though it does not use the nomenclature, the institution considers the environmental, social and economic pillars when developing its strategic plans, as well as being able to list numerous actions and structure them around the 17 SDGs. The main actions identified were structured around SDG 3 – Health and Well-Being, SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production. Conclusion; the objectives were gotten in the study and it is suggested that the company create indicators for
actions related to education, carry out training to disseminate the concepts of sustainability and 17 SDGs, in addition to incorporating them into the company's strategic behavior, and If possible, publicize it to encourage other institutions to seek sustainable development.

Abstract: This academic research presents a case study on the network-based organization model in innovation ecosystems, based on the case of the Vale do Genoma. The research addresses problems and challenges faced by institutions/organizations in this complex and collaborative environment, proposing solutions and applying
academic knowledge in a practical and direct way. The research uses a qualitative approach, involving the collection of data on people, places, and processes through the researcher’s direct contact with the object being studied. Methods such as semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis were used. As a result, it presents valuable information on how to operate in innovation
ecosystems and how academic institutions, investors and entrepreneurs can contribute to the development of these ecosystems.In addition, the research presents an innovative intervention proposed by the researcher, which consists of the
introduction of a proprietary methodology to improve governance and promote the sustainable development of the innovation ecosystem in the Genome Valley. The research also allowed the obtaining of valuable insights to improve governance and promote the sustainable development of the innovation ecosystem in the Genome

Título: OS OBJETIVOS DO DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL NA ÓTICA DA ABORDAGEM DA ESTRATÉGIA COMO PRÁTICA SOCIAL: UM ESTUDO NO CORPO DE BOMBEIROS MILITAR DO PARANÁ

Abstract: The excessive interaction of man with the environment has caused irreparable damage to
fauna, flora and various ecosystems, causing climate change and consequently a significant
increase in the frequency and magnitude of extreme events. The industrialization of the 18th
century transformed the way of life and organization of society, providing growth,
technologies and opportunities in the most varied strategic axes. However, they caused
various environmental and social damages, such as the emission of polluting gases, generation of industrial waste, unemployment, precarious work, inequalities and socio-spatial problems, such as violence, mortality, crime, hunger, lack of basic sanitation, insufficient education and poor health. The strategy is created, developed and executed by people, being perceived as a social practice, a link between practices (routines, procedures), praxis (real activity) and practitioners, making it possible to understand the phenomena and social contexts of an organization. Given this, several public and private organizations mobilized to create strategies and goals to reverse these negative results, preventing risks and mitigating social vulnerabilities. In this vein, the United Nations has established a sustainable agenda until the year 2030, with 17 Sustainable Development Goals broken down into 169 goals. This work aimed to investigate the sustainable practices and praxis carried out by the Military Fire Department of Paraná, correlating with the Sustainable Development Objectives, establishing the actors involved and assessing the level of organizational sustainability, based on the assumptions and concepts of the strategy such as social practice. To this end, a qualitative approach was adopted, using semi-structured interviews, field diary, non-participant observation and documentary research as research instruments, with content analysis and triangulation being carried out to achieve the objectives. The results showed that the Fire Department has a portfolio of practices and praxis focused on sustainability, which aim to preserve the environment, society and transparent and efficient governance. The findings demonstrate the formation of a sustainable strategy, however weakened by a lack of dissemination and leveling of knowledge among its members, with no goals and evaluation indicators. It was also evident that the main reasons for not having greater commitment from the Fire Department and its members to the issue of sustainability are the deficit in personnel, the accumulation of functions, the high costs for implementing and maintaining sustainable technologies, the old structures of the fire stations, the absence of determinations, inspections and a specific sector to manage the matter. Furthermore, the study inferred the level of organizational sustainability based on results, as legal requirements are met, there is a moral duty, with voluntary actions, social, environmental and governance aspects are present, but requiring beneficial returns to the organization, such as financial savings, better reputation, institutional visibility, without sustainability being practiced in its essence. The contribution of the dissertation is to add information and generate opportunities for improvement to the Fire Department, to evolve on the topic, and promote sustainability in concept, familiarizing, raising awareness, and encouraging military firefighters, favoring the perpetuation of sustainable practices and praxis.

Abstract: The state universities of Paraná are composed of seven educational institutions. Currently, these universities have five men and two women serving in the highest positions of university
administration as their rectors. With this information, it is evident that there is no gender parity
in the roster of university rectors, and when examining the histories of these institutions, an
even greater disparity from equality becomes apparent. It is also noteworthy that out of the
seven institutions, two have never had a woman as a rector. Given this issue, there arises a need for research to identify how female representation in public universities in Paraná occurs, from the perspective of female rectors. The research aims to identify the obstacles faced by women in reaching these positions, as well as to determine the presence of gender discrimination and whether the "glass ceiling" barrier exists in these institutions. To achieve this, this study utilized bibliographic research within the institutions to obtain quantitative data related to the number of employees, educational level, position held, and gender. After data collection, semi-structured interviews were conducted with two current female rectors from different institutions and one former rector who currently presides over APIESP (Association of State Universities of Paraná). The content analysis method used was based on the technique proposed by Bardin (2011), starting with pre-analysis through readings, document selection, and objective formulation. Subsequently, the material was explored, categorized for analysis, and finally, the interpretation of the obtained results was carried out. Text analysis methods were also employed using the IRAMUTEQ software to evaluate the frequency and connections between the terms used during the interviews. Consequently, it was possible to identify that the life stories of each of the interviewees are quite similar, with a foundation in education and the support of their family networks. Gender discrimination within the institutions is also observed, as reported by the female rectors in various environments they frequented. The presence of the glass ceiling barrier is evident, preventing women from reaching top management positions. Therefore, it is proposed that universities create more spaces for dialogue and discussions to promote the social construction of female representation, in addition to implementing legal methods to ensure female representation in leadership positions, thereby breaking down this barrier with fewer difficulties.
